She nodded as if it made perfect sense to her, and it did. “Well if it isn’t the leader of the goody goodies. It’s always such a pleasure seeing you, and I mean that it the most insincerity.” She gave him a halfhearted smile as tilted her head slightly. “That’s a good look for you though. It just screams ‘I’m gonna put you in jail.’“ 

He smiled, slightly. He missed those days with the Titans, but he’s with another team now. Hopefully. Just as long as no one knew his little secrets. “Thanks. Your look hasn’t changed.” He said, looking over the other.

“Last Red X? Well, I assure you- I’m obviously better than him. I can already tell.” He stated overly-confident as always. “So tell me, what kind of Nightwing might you be?” He asked both skeptically and curiously.

Nightwing looked over the other again and nodded slightly. He could tell this one wasn’t the Red X he knew, but was curious at to who it was. “Nightwing from the Justice League. Leader, to be exact. Former Boy Wonder.”

He nodded, only remembering the last Red X was one of Salde’s goons. “Yes, because the last Red X was. Just wanted to make sure you were him.”

Blackfire folded her arms across her chest as she eyed him up and down. “Well… Look who it is. Wait..—” She paused as she eyed him closely. “At least I think I know who it is..” 

Dick looked at the female, a smile on his face. “Hello, Blackfire.” He nodded. “If you’re thinking Robin, then you have the right person.”

Kara blushed heavily at his offer, but shook her head. “Oh no, I couldn’t intrude…” Kara looked up and played with her hands, a very nervous habit, wanting to take up the offer, but too shy to say yes. “Besides, I really don’t want to bother Superboy.” Kara fakely smiled, trying to show happiness the best she could.

He nodded, understanding what the female was going through. “He’s technically your cousin as well.” He smiled, hoping him continuously talking about the Team would make her want to join more. “Maybe you can teach him to fly? I heard from Cl— Superman that you had trouble at first.”

Kara tilted her head at his sudden reaction, but decided not to question it, very friendly at heart as well. “It must be nice to have a team, ” Kara continued, trying to cheer him up, “It gets really lonely just being a loner. I can always join Superman, but he’s off doing his thing…” Kara sighed, looking down at her hands. 

He nodded. He knew what it was like to be a loner in the hero world. When he ‘retired’ from the Team originally, he served to protect Budhaven. That got bored, and returned to be a member of the Team. “You know, I could always use another Super on my team. Superboy’s sort of lonely, since you know, Superman doing his own thing.”

Kara nodded and extended her hand as a friendly gesture, shy. “I’m doing well. How is the team? I’ve been hearing about it. It sounds like it is coming along very well.” Kara explained, looking up at him.

He shooked the other’s hand firmly, smiling. He was nice, and really loved talking to people. When she brought up the team, he removed his hand, and looked away. “It’s going okay. Got the whole team back, but our base of operations got destroyed.” He looked up, smiling a bit. “But it’s all part of the plan.”
